Practicum

This Patient thought I was sent by her Doctor as a perquisite to going to rehab.  She said “I TOLD HIM I WAS NOT GOING TO REHAB”! My words in defense were not reassuring to her. So I told her I had a gift for her and she started to smile. Before she changed her mind, I ran back to the supply area and returned with a miniature unpainted birdhouse. Her favorite color is blue and she like the Florida gators. She watch me with a smile paint color on the birdhouse that was her very own gift to take "HOME" and “NOT TO REHAB”.  Incidentally this woman is in her nineties and very independent.
